Kindred Spirits (formerly What I Say When I Am Asleep) is a collection of long, rambling digital letters to you, my ✨internet friends ✨.

Welcome to this whirlpool of unshaped thoughts, overflowing bookshelves and identity crises, written by an introverted earth child in one corner of this world.

As usual, I don’t know where to start. It seemed a bit self-centred at first – to create a newsletter dedicated to my personal thoughts and send them straight to people’s inboxes, as though I were someone important.

My experiences may not be unique, but maybe narrating them will make someone feel at peace with their own. My fears aren’t singular, but someone in Quebec or Amsterdam or Manila might find their anxieties mirrored in mine. My thoughts bounce off of other, more original thoughts – but by acting as the reverb chamber I hope to share important conversations with the rest of the world.

We’ll see about all this – until then, thank you for signing up.

Sign up now so you don’t miss the first issue.

In the meantime, tell your friends!
